Sunday's Shutter Delights | Special Espasol from Laguna

Special Espasol
Special Espasol

Espasol is another Filipino rice cake which is said to originate from Laguna. It is made of rice flour and coconut strips cooked in coconut milk and dusted with toasted rice flour (source: Wikipedia). I bought these espasols from Orient: The Original Buko Pie Bakeshop in Los Baños last October during our Laguna road trip. It tasted good, with just the right sweetness, unlike those sold in buses. Try it when you happened to be in Los Baños. ^_^
